Bodie was born and raised in Nevada. Bodie enlisted in the United States Air Force and served our country as a Firefighter. Bodie's law enforcement experience includes working as a Deputy Sheriff, Police Officer and Court Bailiff. His fire experience includes working as a Firefighter, Paramedic, EMS Division Chief and an Assistant Chief. 

Bodie is passionate about education and enjoys teaching others what he has learned. He holds teaching certificates in Law Enforcement, Emergency Medical Services and Fire.

Bodie currently sits on the WBRH Hospital Board, Seat 1. He was appointed to LEPC representing First Aid. Previously, Bodie sat on the Emergency Medical Services Advisory Committee representing Career and Volunteer Firefighters. Bodie was elected to this position twice before finally hitting his term limit.  

Bodie and his wife Carlyanne enjoy spending their time with new adventures traveling around the US. They also enjoy being outdoors and exploring all that White Pine County has to offer.  You'll often find Bodie and Carlyanne at events in Ely throughout the year!
